Quad-biking in Africa is mainly at Bujagali Falls near Jinja in East Africa Uganda, also the location of white water rafting on the River Nile and bungee jumping. A quad bike is a four-wheeled motorbike. It’s an all terrain, rough -tough, 4×4 motorbikes that can be ridden by anyone who knows the difference between an accelerator and a brake – quite important skills really.
For all the visitor involved in Quad Biking, you will need protective clothes- helmets, gloves and very attractive bright orange overalls – are supplied, as are refreshments en route. For the more experienced, there are half day, full day, and overnight quad-bike safaris, for which a tent, lanterns, food and drink are strapped to the front of the bike. It’s the best way to get right into the heart of rural Uganda.
There is no need for experience; most of our clients have never driven an ATV. Free training session before each safari starts, its advisable to have a guide while on the Quad safari, who will guide you through existing pathways and tracks used to minimize environmental effects. * Refreshments are provided during and after each trip. Come along with a camera; you will get many ‘photo moments’ en-route.

The practice circuit also provides a venue for the ‘KIDS QUADS’. These smaller, fully automatic machines are very easy to ride and bucket loads of fun. The circuit provides a safe, supervised venue for individuals and groups (e.g. birthdays, school groups, a special treat…). If the children are too small to ride themselves they can ride with Dad, Mum or our guides on one of our family trips.
Supervised circuits or short safaris. From about 7 years old (depends on the child’s ability to control our fully automatic mini ATV’s). We’ll teach them how to drive and tailor the trip to suit everyone’s abilities. With our carefully designed learner circuits and having a guide always present, we provide a safe environment for children to learn how to control a motorized vehicle without doing it the ‘hard way’. Then, once they have acquired a degree of control, we give them the challenges that they need to further develop their skills, enjoy themselves and come away with a sense of achievement.
